Characteristics of the Orza Fried Pork Ribs

The orza ribs are made by the family business Qalat, located in Calamocha in Teruel. They are experts in the making of typical aragonese dishes.

The orza fried ribs come in a package of 260 gr approx., are vacuum-packed and in the package, one will find part of the oil in which these have been cooked.

These comfited pork ribs can be eaten cold or warm, and they are also used in some traditional dishes such as oven-baked rice. The pork rib has certain consistency yet it can be easily cut with a knife. Its exterior is dark brown and golden due to the low temperature frying that has endured. Its interior is lighter in colour, even a bit pink.
